Really good! Our self-catering stay at Waterside Cottages was a dream come true. The hotel was impeccably clean and beautifully finished. We enjoyed watching the diverse birdlife from the large patio and garden. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, and we were delighted by the extra treats provided daily. Communication with the host was excellent, and the place was kept super clean without disturbing our belongings. We cherished every moment here.

The outdoor seating area offers a stunning view of the river, perfect for a relaxing breakfast. Guests can also enjoy a private braai area by the water's edge. The owners offer personalized service, making guests feel welcomed and ensuring a pleasant stay.

Luxurious cottages nestled in bushy surroundings, with free breakfast and WiFi. Convenient amenities like barbecue grills. Also, great for shopaholics with nearby malls. My patios were blissful.

Oh, how disappointing! I couldn't find a mini bin in the bedroom to dispose of my rubbish.

I chose this hotel for attending a conclave, and it provided a tranquil setting just 12km from Gaborone City Centre where I could escape from business meetings in the city and be one with nature in completely unspoilt African bushveld.

The one service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center with printing and scanning facilities.

The tranquil setting of the hotel allowed me to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse myself in nature, feeling truly connected to the African bushveld. The luxurious thatched cottages provided the perfect retreat, surrounded by unspoilt natural beauty. It felt like being in a peaceful oasis away from the busy city life. I had the pleasure of tasting the local dishes at the renowned Mokolodi Restaurant, just a short drive from the hotel. The flavors were exceptional, truly a culinary delight. Enjoying a continental breakfast and using the BBQ facilities in the privacy of my own cottage was a great convenience. It felt like having a home away from home.

Limited dining options in the immediate vicinity.

We had a fantastic stay at this self-catering accommodation. The cottage we stayed in was right by the dam, and we had our own private braai area. We were kinda surprised to find a fridge stocked with fresh fruit, yogurt, and milk. The peace and tranquility of the surroundings were exactly what we needed. Everything had been thought of, and we loved that we could make our own coffee and cook our own meals. The linen smelled fresh and clean. The breakfast provided was a nice touch, and we enjoyed taking a morning walk to the picnic area by the water.

waterside cottages was even better than our previous stay in gaborone! the burchell cottage on the dam had a private braai and seating area. we were pleasantly surprised by the assortment of goodies in the fridge, including fresh fruit and yogurt. it truly felt like a home away from home, and we left feeling recharged.

The location of the cottages was fantastic, with beautiful views of the dam and a peaceful atmosphere. The cottages themselves were well-appointed, with comfortable beds and a good shower. The picnic set provided was a nice touch and made it easy to enjoy the outdoor space.

That the kitchen area was quite small, with just a shelf and a fridge in the corner. It made it a bit tight for food preparation.

The guestrooms at Waterside Cottages were absolutely delightful! The cozy atmosphere and plush bedding made us feel right at home. We loved relaxing on the furnished patio, enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The spacious cottages had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The satellite TV kept us entertained, while the microwave and small fridge were perfect for preparing quick meals and snacks. Plus, the tea-and-coffee-making facilities were a nice touch! The private bathrooms in the guestrooms were clean and well-equipped. The shower had good water pressure and the complimentary toiletries were a nice touch. We felt refreshed and pampered during our stay. We were impressed with the amenities provided in the guestrooms, such as free WiFi and air conditioning. The reliable WiFi helped us stay connected, while the air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay.

Although everything at Waterside Cottages was wonderful, we personally found the electric kettle in the double room a bit outdated. However, we understand that others may still find it convenient for making tea or coffee.

I recently stayed at Waterside Cottages in Gaborone for a quick getaway with my family. The communication and directions from Cilla were clear and easy to understand. The Nguni Cottage we stayed in was amazing, with its personalized and themed design. The cottage was clean and well kept, with all the amenities we needed. The private 'Lapa' overlooking the river was a highlight, and overall, we had an AMAZING time. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

    Title: A Truly Delightful Stay!

The only thing I would ask for to make our vacation even better for senior people is a small conventional oven or a pot burner in the cottage. This would allow us to enjoy indoor cooking on chilly winter nights without having to venture outside.

The cottage provided a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for a Christmas getaway. the decor was immaculate, creating a warm and inviting space. the view from the outdoor sitting area was breathtaking, with serene and beautiful views of the river. the location of the cottage was superb, offering privacy and a quiet getaway. the cottage also had all the necessary amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen with utensils and a two burner oven, allowing us to prepare our own meals.

The limited hot water in the shower. It seemed to run out quickly, leaving us with cold water.
